PFS Energy Malaysia is a joint venture between a New Zealand engineering company, PFS Engineering and a Malaysian palm oil plantation, Keresa Plantations.

The JV is dedicated to converting biomass and other waste through gasification into more valuable products which include heat, electricity and biochar.

Keresa Plantation Bintulu, Malaysia – pilot project (first Malaysian plant)

Energy Output : 1MW heat or 0.3MW electricity
Biochar Output : 1.5T/day

Upgrade 2019 planned

Biomass Capacity : 80T EFB/day
Energy Output : 8MW heat or 3MW electricity
Biochar Output : 12T/day
